On 22nd May 1998, the people of Northern Ireland went to the polls and showed their immense support for the Agreement reached on Good Friday. An astounding 71.12%, the majority of people, in both communities, said 'YES'.
This reflection of the settled will of the people must not be ignored by the wreckers, the people have spoken and will speak again on 25th June when the elect members to the new Assembly.
People must use their votes wisely, and elect from parties who are willing to make the Assembly work. This gives us all a chance to work on the social and economic issues that matter to us most. Make no mistake, the Union is safe, and those who tell you they are going into to Assembly to save Ulster, are in reality, wiping your eye.
Don't let the wreckers wipe your eye!
